Staff from Premier are certified to complete Ecological Land Classification (ELC) and Ontario Wetland Evaluation System (OWES) for sites across Ontario.
Premier has expertise in delineating wetlands using OWES and interpreting features of sites such as soils, vegetation, surface water, and wildlife, using ELC. Premier creates maps that are referenced using geographical information systems (GIS) and/or computer-aided design (CAD). These maps are then used within different studies, such as environmental impact assessments (EIA).
