Yesterday, I was driving on a few rural roads close to Blue Mountain and couldn’t help but notice that many of the leaves on the area’s maple trees are starting to change from summer green to more vibrant reds and yellows typical of Autumn in Ontario. This is a sure sign that colder days and nights will prevail once again. For me, fall is a time of reflection on the year as it comes to an end. Without a doubt 2020 will be a year never to forget. Who would have ever imagined that a viral pandemic would sweep the Globe, causing entire economies to grind to a halt, leaving so many individuals without work, so many businesses in ruin, and all of us with such an uncertain future.
I don’t know about you, but I tried my best to make the summer of 2020 as normal as possible. I spent time up at the lake meeting new friends, went on a canoe trip in Northern Ontario, and sat around numerous campfires with family. I also worked longer hours then I have ever worked in my life. I guess that is because I no longer spend 5 hours a day sitting in my car driving to meetings in Toronto, or sitting in restaurants sharing meals for hours on end. Do I miss the in-person meetings with clients? You bet I do!
It’s the years of pre-pandemic meetings that helped build the foundation that supports Premier Environmental Services Inc. We are so very fortunate to have such great clients who provide exciting and challenging jobs that keep all of us a Premier wanting to come back to work every day. I want to say thank you to all of our great clients, thank you for supporting us through these very difficult times, and thank you for sticking with Premier Environmental Services Inc. when times got tough.
While the future may be uncertain, working along side great clients like you make all of us at Premier Environmental Services Inc. feel a little more confident in all that we do. So thank you for that and here’s to a great Fall Season.
