While 2020 will go down as one of the worst years on record, there sure were a lot of positive occurrences at Premier Environmental Services Inc.
Let’s start with the fact that everyone in the company now knows what everyone else looks like. Early on in the pandemic, we organized an internal video chat twice a week so that all employees could be informed of what the company was doing to safeguard against COVID-19, what external influences were shaping how our company operates, and generally how everyone was feeling. This meant that Scott in Magog, QC or Mike in Ottawa were able to talk with and see Courtney in Toronto, or Matt in Cambridge.
There is no doubt that these video calls brought us all closer together in a very positive way. Then, there was the extra special effort that everyone put in to see Premier Environmental through the pandemic while keeping our clients satisfied and generating enough work to keep the lights on and eventually bring back all employees to full time status.
Finally, there were our amazing clients who provided us with a constant stream of projects so that we could all keep brining home a paycheck to our families. We have immense gratitude and appreciation for this.
So as we close out December and bid goodbye to 2020, let’s hope that in the coming months, we can also say goodbye to the COVID-19 virus. I look forward to seeing what positive things 2021 will bring and I look forward to our team doing their very best to keep all of our client’s environmental needs satisfied.
